Job Description

The Senior Technical SEO Specialist will contribute to and oversee the search engine optimization strategy, SEO tactics, and site health for our clients. They will apply best practices to the day-to-day execution and maintenance of SEO strategies and ensure their team is following best practices as well. They will work closely with the rest of the business team to contribute towards and communicate technical and campaign details ensuring best practice implementation of the initiatives underlying the SEO strategy. The Senior SEO Specialist will be responsible for ongoing reporting of the performance of the SEO strategy against predetermined OKRs.Key Responsibilities:To improve the organic rankings and search traffic for affiliate marketing sites.Onsite Optimization related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, sitemaps review/maintenanceKeyword research to identify and discover or update semantic or topical content strategy (entity optimization)Monitor, track, and analyze keyword and topic ranking performance on an ongoing basis, and optimize SEO campaigns as necessaryContinuous monitoring of search metrics to be proactive in decision-makingWork with a team to develop and execute site migration, content, and redirect strategies for large and complex websitesKeep abreast of the latest SEO tools and techniques and communicate learnings to all project stakeholders.Skilled in competitive analysis and identifying strategies to facilitate our clients in reaching the top of their industry.Collaborate with different teams, such as website management, business intelligence, content, UI design, branding/PR, and engineering team on the execution of projectsDiscover & evaluate organic competitors and prepare Content Gap Analysis reports.Identify areas for on-site improvements in site structure, internal linking, and contentPrepare Backlink audits and fix errors found in Google Search Console.Create and update tasks in our project management system and collaborate across teamsPerform timely follow-ups across teams to ensure Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page.
