We're seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join a high-impact team in the Northeast region! If you're experienced in high-voltage substation design (13kV-500kV) — whether on the physical layout or protection & control side — this is a fantastic growth opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure that powers millions. You'll collaborate with civil, structural, and transmission teams on projects that shape the resiliency and reliability of the electric grid across the U.S. and internationally.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading design of substations - both physical and P&C
• Performing grounding, AC/DC load, and lightning protection studies
• Developing specs, supporting testing, and field troubleshooting
• Reviewing peer work, mentoring junior staff, and supporting proposals

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience (5-7 preferred)
• Strong substation design experience (physical or P&C)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related software
• Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, and other relevant standards
• Consulting or EPC firm experience preferred (e.g., POWER, TRC, B&V, Leidos)
