Diverse Lynx is seeking highly skilled Surgical Scrub Technicians for a 13-week travel assignment at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. As a Surgical Scrub Technician, you will play a key role in the Operating Room, assisting surgeons with various surgical procedures while maintaining sterile environments and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities: Surgical Assistance: Provide direct support during surgeries, including maintaining sterile fields, handling instruments, and anticipating surgeons needs. Operating Room Preparation: Ensure the operating room is properly set up with necessary surgical instruments and equipment. Patient Safety: Monitor patient safety and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Team Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to provide optimal care for patients. Total Joint Replacement Cases: Be comfortable assisting in total joint replacement cases, as well as other types of surgeries including Orthopedic, Neuro, Robot-assisted, GYN, Urology, General, and Vascular. Call Shifts: Be available for a call requirement of 6 shifts every 8-week time block (3 weeknights and 3 weekend shifts, including holidays).
