Experience: Minimum of 8 full busy seasons in the tax profession, EA required CPA nice to have. PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.
Provide tax planning and projections requested by clients.
Research tax issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Maintain an understanding and knowledge of changes in tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.
Consult with clients to develop a basic understanding of their financial affairs and the scope of their tax liabilities.
Answer calls and emails from clients in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry organizations.
Transfer expertise of industry knowledge, trends, and best practices to others in the firm.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
General proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to learn from previous experiences and apply knowledge to future assignments.
Quality communication between other staff and clients.
Ability to manage and develop new staff members.
Attention to detail and organization.
Be a team player.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree required.
CPA nice to have, EA Required (open to JD candidates)
