Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst specializing in eCommerce to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, technical architecture, and business processes. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze, map, and optimize the technical side of eCommerce systems while driving business outcomes such as improved user experience, system efficiency, and revenue growth. Note: You should be prepared to share examples of past eCommerce projects (Technical Documentations) where you successfully analyzed technical components and provided solutions to complex eCommerce challenges. Key Responsibilities: Technical Analysis & eCommerce Platforms: Conduct a detailed analysis of the technical infrastructure of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce) to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and improved performance. Technical Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders (developers, system architects, product owners) to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into detailed specifications. In this role, you will be responsible for creating key documents such as the Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Technical Requirements Document (TRD), System Architecture Diagrams, and Integration/Interface Specifications to ensure smooth communication between business and technical teams, and successful implementation of eCommerce solutions. System Mapping & Architecture: Create and update system architecture diagrams and technical documentation to map out the eCommerce ecosystem, including integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, APIs, and third-party tools. Integration and API Management: Analyze and evaluate API integrations between various platforms and third-party systems (CRM, ERP, PIM) to ensure data flow, synchronization, and performance are optimized. Technical Customer Journey Optimization: Work closely with development and UX teams to analyze customer journeys from a technical perspective, identifying areas where the user experience can be improved by optimizing technical performance, reducing load times, or enhancing mobile responsiveness. Security & Compliance: Ensure all technical aspects of the eCommerce platform meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards. Qualifications: 6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on eCommerce projects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, technical environment.
