CARVE Africa (Creating Accessibility for Reproductive Values and Education) is a women-led NGO in Malawi and a U.S. 501(c)(3) dedicated to advancing menstrual health and sexual & reproductive health rights (SRHR).

We are seeking a Treasurer to join our ✨ U.S. Board of Directors ✨ . This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health, governance, and long-term sustainability of CARVE’s mission.

What you’ll do:

• 💰 Provide financial oversight - budgets, audits, IRS/state filings, and compliance
• 💬 Offer strategic leadership on financial sustainability and fundraising
• 🧭 Strengthen project financial management and stewardship of donor funds

What we’re looking for:

• ✔ Financial professional (accounting, audit, NGO finance)
• ✔ Experience with U.S. nonprofit compliance (990s, audits, state filings)
• ✔ Familiarity with international/NGO financial management is a plus
• ✔ Passion for advancing women’s health and rights

Commitment: ~6 hours/month, including quarterly board/finance meetings and ad hoc support.
