A leading national retailer is looking for a Visual Merchandise (VM) Coordinator to support the planning, development, and rollout of visual merchandising strategies across its retail stores.
This role is all about making sure stores look their best - from seasonal campaigns to day-to-day product displays - ensuring that every visual touchpoint is on-brand, appealing, and commercially effective.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in preparing and distributing clear VM directives, planograms, and guidelines to stores
- Coordinate procurement and distribution of VM assets, props, and signage
- Provide store support, troubleshoot VM queries, and monitor compliance with brand standards
- Stay up-to-date with retail and VM trends, and feed insights into future campaigns
- Collaborate with Marketing, Buying, Operations, and external vendors to ensure smooth campaign rollouts
What You’ll Bring:
- Matric (essential); Diploma/Certificate in Visual Merchandising, Retail, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or related field (preferred)
- 1-3 years’ experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of VM principles, store layouts, fixtures, and product presentation strategies
- A creative eye with attention to detail and a flair for aesthetics
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment with changing priorities
- Proficiency in Google platforms; basic Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop knowledge is a plus
