Area Technical Head

We are looking for an accomplished and detail-oriented professional to join our organization as an Area Technical Head for our Affordable Housing Loan division. The incumbent will play a critical role in leading the technical appraisal process, ensuring accurate evaluation of properties, and managing the technical risk associated with affordable housing loans. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of property evaluation, and a deep understanding of affordable housing regulations. The candidate will oversee a team of technical officers and third-party valuers while ensuring process compliance and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and supervise technical evaluations of residential properties (Affordable Housing Loan segment). Scrutinize property documents, approvals, and title deeds. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory norms. Manage and mentor technical officers/valuers. Identify risks in construction, valuation, and documentation. Oversee third-party technical agencies for quality compliance. Collaborate with credit, legal, sales, and operations teams. Provide technical insights for recoveries and stressed assets. Maintain records and submit timely MIS/audit reports. Ensure adherence to TATs and SLAs. Comply with RBI, NHB, and other regulations.
