Senior Installation Supervisor

We're hiring a seasoned Senior Installation Supervisor for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar! If you have extensive offshore installation experience, apply now! Key Responsibilities & Qualifications: Location: Doha, Qatar Supervision: Manage and guide contractors during offshore installation of EPIC projects. Engineering Review: Review, comment, and approve contractor's construction engineering documents in PDMS. Workshops: Attend engineering workshops (Constructability, SIMOPS, HAZOP, etc.) and provide inputs. Standards Compliance: Ensure contractor executes offshore installation per client standards and drawings. Performance Monitoring: Monitor, control, and report contractor's performance and resource deployment. Risk Management: Act as the construction Risk Management representative. Liaison: Liaise with senior discipline engineers throughout all project phases. Planning Review: Review contractor's construction plans, schedules, and method statements. Progress Reporting: Maintain daily progress records and report anomalies. Work Permits: Monitor and control client work permits for contractor compliance. Mobilization: Coordinate contractor, sub-contractor, and vendor mobilization to offshore sites. Education: BSc in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering, plus relevant courses. Experience: Minimum 12 years supervising offshore installation of EPIC projects. Computer Skills: Computer literate. Communication: Good communication and writing skills. Project Experience: Robust experience in FEED and EPIC projects with strong review/approval capabilities. Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English (oral and written). Industry Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environment. Document Review: Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection plans, schedules, and drawings. Problem Solving: Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks and suggest solutions. Team Leadership: Ability to supervise a multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.
