Founding UI/UX + Brand Designer

This is not just a job. You wont be handed mockups or direction. Youll be the one giving direction. As our Founding Designer, you will: Define Vibes entire visual and emotional identity Build the products first, foundational user experience Make key decisions that shape how Vibe is loved, remembered, and trusted Collaborate directly with the founder on product vision, emotional positioning, and design-first strategy Take full ownership, responsibility, and creative control over all things design Be the voice of design in a company where emotion and UX are the product What Youll Own Brand Identity Design Vibes logo, color system, typography, and brand language Define a visual tone thats expressive, emotionally alive, and Gen Z-native Set standards for consistency across all user-facing surfaces UX Design Map the entire user journey: homepage onboarding chat beyond Design emotionally intelligent flows that feel personal, intuitive, and warm Build edge-case experiences that comfort, not confuse from first message to Im feeling down Think holistically about how design builds trust, intimacy, and delight UI Design Create high-fidelity, web + mobile-first screens in Figma Build a flexible and scalable design system (components, tokens, spacing, typography) Design interface states that feel alive, friendly, and intentional Deliver well-structured files and prototypes to support a fast-moving dev process Tools & Deliverables Tools: Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (or anything you prefer to get the job done) Deliverables include: full brand system, UX flows, final UI screens, prototype, design system, and asset handoff Youll be designing and defining everything from scratch
