Freight Handler

As a Freight Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods within our warehouse or distribution center. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, sorting and organizing freight, and ensuring accurate inventory management. You will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth flow of goods throughout our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload freight from trucks and containers using forklifts or other equipment.
* Sort and organize freight according to destination or product type.
* Inspect freight for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
* Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners or computer systems.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Skills:
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
* Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
