Mechanical Fire Engineer

Assess the potential for fire scenarios, fire loads, and fire spread patterns. Select equipment and materials, and design the layout, configuration, and installation of the system. Make recommendations for fire safety systems, procedures, and materials. Inspect buildings, equipment, and materials for potential hazards. Work with other disciplines, such as architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers, to ensure fire protection systems are compatible with the facility. Ensure fire protection systems meet code requirements.
