Minimum Requirements and Key Competencies:
Certified Asphalt Batching Plant Operator with hands-on experience operating a QLB 1000 AMP or similar asphalt batching plant.
Specialized training in Asphalt Technology.
Proven knowledge of asphalt production processes.
Proficiency in computer applications relevant to plant operation and reporting.
Familiarity with Botswana's Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges, international road and highway standards, and
TMH1 protocols.

Asphalt Batching & Drum Plant Operation
QLB 1000 Asphalt Mixing Technology
TMH1 Materials Sampling & Testing
Bitumen Heating & Circulation Systems
Asphalt Coring & Compaction Testing
Laboratory Equipment Calibration
Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Quality Control & Reporting
Preventive Plant Maintenance
Compliance with safety and production standards.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the QLB 1000 AMP or equivalent asphalt batching plant.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance.
Maintain strict compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
Train and mentor interns and junior staff in asphalt plant operations and quality control procedures.
