<p>Looking for an opportunity to join a growing business doing cutting-edge work for innovative clients in financial services? Have you worked in a legal, consulting, financial services, or accounting environment in the past? We are seeking an initiative-taking and meticulous Business Development Associate to join the Tölt Strategies team. This role is ideal for someone with approximately three years of relevant experience in a professional services environment who is looking to build their career in business development. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting client acquisition and growth efforts, with a primary focus on developing, coordinating, and delivering compelling client pitches and proposals and closing engagement opportunities.</p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle from market and client research to proposal and pitch development and contracting. One day you may spend time conducting research on prospective clients and competitors to help develop our BD strategy, and another you will coordinate and draft client pitches, RFP responses, and presentations. You will also maintain pitch templates, decks, standard agreements, and similar. You will excel at gathering information and condensing it into concise pieces of information for senior leadership.</p><p>This role will work closely with a range of Tölt Strategies personnel to deliver high-quality client-facing materials. This role will have impact on the overall process and will share best practices they have learned along the way, helping build the Tölt brand.</p><p>Ideally you hold a BA or MBA in Business, Marketing, Communications or related. You will have spent at least three years in a consulting or financial services type environment in a BD role. Your writing will be accurate, clear, concise, and compelling. Your Powerpoint, Excel, and related skills must be excellent. And you need an ability and track record of successfully building and executing on a multi-year business development plan. You know how to communicate complex information in a client friendly manner. Of course, Microsoft Office Suite and related skills are important, and you have mastered them. We are a demanding (and collegial!) environment, and you will need to be able to manage a few things at once. You will be client-focused, collaborative, friendly, meticulous and proactive.</p>
