Job Description

<p>This position will support the design of individual learning items and blended learning programs. The instructional designer will work to agreed design quality standards and processes, using approved templates and tools, and will collaborate with other designers and learning professionals to support the continuous improvement of design and development speed, efficiency, and quality.</p><h3>🔹Your key responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Actively participate in Skills Needs Analysis (SNA) conversations leading to the design of learning solutions.</li><li>Draft learning objectives that meet EY quality standards</li><li>Apply effective learning strategies and design guidelines to ensure the creation of impactful learning materials.</li><li>Assist in drafting Learning Solution Plans and contribute to the continuous improvement of learning solutions.</li><li>Create comprehensive learning documents (e.g., Storyboards, trainer/participant decks for Physical and Virtual Classroom programs) that contribute to the development of final learning assets.</li><li>Maintain strong working relationships with Subject Matter Reviewers (SMRs), graphic designers, and other stakeholders to produce effective learning solutions.</li><li>Review all learning deliverables for content flow, accuracy, language, and adherence to quality standards.</li><li>Conduct quality assurance checks with SMRs, technical reviewers, and deployment teams; utilize their feedback to revise design documents.</li><li>Utilize rapid authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate Studio to create engaging and interactive learning modules.</li><li>Ensure deliverables align with EY design and quality standards related to written materials.</li></ul><h3>🔹To qualify for the role, you must have</h3><ul><li>3 to 6 years of experience in designing courses and other learning items.</li><li>Experience in designing effective learning solutions for eLearning, Physical Classroom, and Virtual Classrooms.</li><li>Required experience in storyboarding courses and simulations using:<ul><li>Articulate Rise & Storyline 360</li><li>MS Word, PowerPoint, and whiteboarding applications (ie Miro/Mural/MS Whiteboard)</li></ul></li><li>Additional experience in storyboarding for<ul><li>Videos</li><li>iPDFs/Flipbooks</li></ul></li><li>Experience in writing assessments aligned to learning objectives</li><li>Experience in applying accessibility standards and offering direction to address gaps</li></ul><h3>What we look for</h3><ul><li>An experienced instructional designer who can support multiple projects concurrently.</li><li>A professional who can quickly problem-solve and can offer perspective on solutions.</li><li>A professional who demonstrates resilience and is energized by working in a global environment, proactively seeking different opinions and valuing diverse perspectives.</li><li>Experience in applying the US CPE requirements</li><li>Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with business customers/clients.</li></ul>
