The Intermediate Designer will demonstrate experience on a variety of projects, including hotels, restaurants, residential interiors, and commercial office interiors. Have an intermediate understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques. Work directly with Lead Designer to ensure seamless completion of projects and timely execution of designs Assist Lead Designer on all aspects of the project: develop concepts, schematics, and designs, research products, explore construction details, create preliminary CAD plans, RCPs, elevations and sections. The Intermediate Designer will develop space planning concepts and mood boards. Create presentation deliverables for each phase, attend and take detailed notes at meetings, source, price, order and track FF & E, coordinate installation, obtain samples, and manage vendor correspondence. Must be able to collaborate on designs within a team environment Assist with client communication when directed Manage project documentation delivery and maintain project records. Document product specifications in Programa and assist in budget development.
