We are looking for a person responsible for managing and maintaining IT, ensuring system performance, security, and availability. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compatibility, reliability, and efficiency of applications within a complex container terminal IT. - Manage, monitor, and maintain Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Windows/Linux servers. - Deploy and manage virtualization solutions (VMware) and cloud services. - Monitor and maintain SAN, NAS, DAS storage solutions. - Administer cloud-based platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365, and antivirus solutions. - Responsible for the racking and cabling of new server equipment. - Ensure the Data Center is always clean and organized, following best practices for cable management. - Design, implement, and test Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity. - Monitor the performance and connectivity of the main data center and disaster recovery site. - Monitor and manage backup solutions, ensuring compliance with retention policies and RTO/RPO objectives. - Manage and implement next-generation antivirus solutions on Windows and Linux servers. - Diagnose and resolve server, network, and application issues. - Ensure 24/7 availability of IT services, supporting critical business operations. - Assist in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
