We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Engineer II with strong hands-on experience in developing and supporting mainframe applications.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.
• Work with DB2 for data management and SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot, tune performance, and debug applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Ensure coding standards, documentation, and compliance with best practices.
• Support production systems and participate in on-call rotations.
• Assist with IMS, MQ, and scheduling tools implementation (if applicable).

🎓 Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in mainframe development and support.
• Strong programming skills in COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
• Knowledge of IMS, MQ, and scheduling tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days in Bangalore office).
