We are looking for a highly analytical and knowledgeable Market Research Analyst to join our Research & Strategy Department, focusing on Egypts power sector. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of electricity generation, transmission and distribution systems, national grid projects, regulatory frameworks, and private sector participation in power infrastructure. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive research on Egypts power sector, including public and private power generation, grid development, and demand forecasts. Analyze policies, subsidies, licensing, and investment models (e.g., IPPs, BOT, feed-in tariffs). Monitor developments in smart grid technologies, energy efficiency initiatives, and digital transformation in utilities. Compile and verify data from official publications, regulatory authorities, industry reports, and energy databases. Write high-quality reports with clear structure and professional formatting. Present insights and research results to teams and clients when required. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree or above in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Energy Policy, Economics, Public Policy, Industrial Engineering, or any related discipline. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in market research, power policy analysis, or consulting related to electricity or utilities. Familiarity with Egypts power grid and electricity law is strongly preferred. Experience in conducting full-cycle research projects independently is an asset.
