Degla CFM is hiring! We are looking for a Site Technical Office Engineer Wet Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. Degla CFM is the Construction and Facility Management Arm of NEWGIZA, Artlife, IVY, and NEWKAIRO projects. Job Location: NEWGIZA Job Responsibilities: 1. Review and interpret wet utility design drawings, shop drawings, and specifications. 2. Coordinate with consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues. 3. Prepare and validate shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for wet utility works. 4. Manage Request for Information (RFI) and technical queries related to wet utilities. 5. Provide technical support and clarification to site execution teams. 6. Assist in coordination with other infrastructure and structural works to avoid clashes and ensure smooth integration. 7. Review and monitor subcontractor progress and compliance with project specs. 8. Support the planning and scheduling team with input related to wet utility deliverables. 9. Participate in value engineering and design optimization discussions. 10. Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with project procedures. Job Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 2. 5+ years of relevant experience in wet utilities in infrastructure or construction projects. 3. Strong knowledge of water supply, stormwater, sewage, and irrigation networks. 4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software. 5. Familiarity with standards and regulations. 6. Excellent technical writing, reporting, and communication skills. 7. Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
