Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support our team. The SLPA will assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing therapy to patients with communication and swallowing disorders. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the SLP in conducting screenings and assessments.
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of the SLP.
- Document patient progress and report observations to the SLP.
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain equipment.
- Provide support and encouragement to patients during therapy sessions.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- SLPA certification or licensure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
